BEFORE YOU APPLY

Please complete the registration form below before submitting your entry.

To ensure every applicant is treated fairly all entries must comply with the Music Recognition Awards submission requirements.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 months' experience in your chosen category.
• One (1) entry per person per category.
• Maximum of three (3) genre entries where applicable.
• All submitted material must be your own original work.

DJ SUBMISSIONS

• One continuous 15–20 minute DJ performance.
• Submitted in MP4 format.
• A matching WAV audio file of the same performance.
• The DJ and all equipment must be clearly visible throughout.
• The use of pitch control must be demonstrated.
• Sync is not permitted.
• No MCs or additional performers may appear.
• The performance must be genuine and must not contain misleading edits.

MC SUBMISSIONS

• One continuous 3–5 minute MC performance.
• Submitted in MP4 format.
• A matching WAV audio file.
• The performer must be clearly visible throughout.
• Vocals must be clear and easily understood.
• The performance must include the words "Individually Twisted" and "MRA".
• The performance must be genuine and must not contain misleading edits.

PRODUCER SUBMISSIONS

• A video showing your track being played within your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
• Submitted in MP4 format.
• A matching WAV audio file of the submitted track.
• The project timeline and key elements of the production must remain clearly visible throughout.
• The submitted video must be genuine and must not contain misleading edits.

PHOTO REQUIREMENT

Every application must include a high-quality photograph that you wish the Music Recognition Awards to use if your entry is shortlisted nominated selected for promotional material or announced as a finalist or winner.

By uploading a photograph you confirm that you own the image or have permission for it to be used by the Music Recognition Awards across our website social media marketing materials and event graphics.

SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY

Applications must be submitted through the Twisted Official website.

If your files are too large to upload they may be sent via a file transfer service (such as WeTransfer) to:

Each submission must include:

• Full Name
• Artist / DJ / MC / Producer Name
• Contact Details

CONTENT & CONDUCT

All submissions must:

• Be your own original work.
• Not infringe any copyright or third-party rights.
• Not contain false or misleading information.
• Not contain illegal defamatory offensive or explicit material.
• Be suitable for public viewing.

IMPORTANT

Producer submissions may be used for judging and where applicable public voting in accordance with the Music Recognition Awards Terms & Conditions.

Any entry that fails to meet the submission requirements or breaches the Music Recognition Awards Terms & Conditions may be rejected or disqualified.
