THE DJ

Underground pioneer DJ Tech is a highly respected DJ, producer, broadcaster and performer whose influence on the UK underground music scene spans more than three decades. A former member of the legendary Exodus Collective, founder member of 90s dance act MassTech P.A., founder of The Beat Jugglers and owner of the pioneering online station Level1Radio, DJ Tech has remained at the forefront of rave culture since first stepping behind the decks in 1993.

Throughout his career, DJ Tech has performed at some of the UK's most iconic venues, including Bagleys (London), Q Club (Birmingham) and Caesars Palace (Luton), while representing some of the underground's most influential sound systems, including Exodus, STS, Pendulum, Teknical Disturbance and Tunnel Crew.

Before becoming an internationally respected DJ, Tech was immersed in the early dance scene as a robotic dancer during the 1980s. His lifelong passion for music has seen him evolve into a DJ, producer, broadcaster, performer and band leader, continually pushing creative boundaries while remaining true to the underground culture that inspired him.

Today, DJ Tech remains one of the UK's most recognisable ambassadors for rave culture, continuing to inspire audiences through his performances, broadcasts and commitment to keeping the underground spirit alive.

THE MUSIC

Known throughout the underground as The Tribaleditor, DJ Tech has built a reputation for delivering powerful, genre-defying performances that take audiences on a musical journey through driving rhythms, hypnotic melodies, hard-hitting synths and unmistakable acid lines.

His unique style seamlessly blends Techno, Festival Trance, Acid, Old Skool, Breakbeat, Jungle and other underground rave sounds, creating energetic sets that have captivated dancefloors for more than 30 years. Whether performing at festivals, clubs or broadcasting live online, his mixes continue to reach listeners around the world and remain highly regarded by generations of ravers.

DJ Tech's passion for underground music began after attending his first Spiral Tribe / Mutoid Waste Company rave at Roundhouse Bus Station during the late 1980s. That experience helped shape the musical direction he continues to follow today, with an unwavering commitment to preserving and evolving the sounds that defined the UK's free-party and rave movement.

Alongside his solo career, DJ Tech is also the founder and driving force behind The Beat Jugglers, an innovative live electronic music project bringing together pioneers from across the rave scene. Featuring legendary artists including Evenson Allen (Ratpack), Fast Eddie, the Chicago pioneer behind the iconic Acid Thunder, Natty Campbell of Reggae Roast Sound System, and Poetic Sun, formerly of The Shabby Tinkerz, the project blends Acid, Techno, Trance, Drum & Bass, Jungle and Old Skool influences into a unique live performance experience.

Having performed at festivals throughout the UK, The Beat Jugglers continue to showcase their distinctive fusion of live instrumentation, MCs, vocals and electronic music while introducing classic rave sounds to a new generation of audiences.
