BlindSided - MRA 2026 - DRUM & BASS DJ ENTRY
BlindSided is a Drum & Bass DJ from Birmingham West Midlands whose determination and passion for music have earned him widespread respect within the scene.
Having DJed on and off for a number of years he committed himself fully to the craft after being registered as Severely Sight Impaired (blind) in 2018. His sight loss was caused by diabetic retinopathy a complication of Type 1 diabetes that he has lived with since childhood.
Despite facing significant challenges BlindSided refused to let his disability define him. Transitioning from vinyl to CDJs as his eyesight deteriorated he adapted his DJing style and continued to develop his skills. Today with no vision in his right eye and only limited vision in his left he continues to perform with the same passion and commitment that first inspired his journey.
BlindSided's story is one of resilience perseverance and a genuine love for Drum & Bass proving that determination can overcome even the greatest obstacles.

BlindSided's passion for Drum & Bass began at the age of 10, sparking a lifelong love for the music and culture. Growing up inspired by the energy, creativity and community within the scene, he developed a deep appreciation for the artists and DJs who shaped the genre.
