THE DJ

Deanne Hoyland better known as D-Zire is a respected DJ producer vocalist and label owner who has become a well-established name within the UK Drum & Bass and Jungle scene. With a career spanning almost two decades she has built a reputation for her versatility creativity and relentless passion for underground music.

Her musical journey began in Southampton in 2008 as a vocalist for RSR Recordings where she featured on numerous Happy Hardcore releases pressed to vinyl. Her vocals also appeared on the internationally released Hardcore Till I Die album introducing her voice to audiences around the world.

D-Zire later joined forces with Diggy Stylus performing a live PA on the BBC Introducing Stage at Big Chill Festival in 2010 further showcasing her talent as a live performer.

Determined to expand her musical journey D-Zire taught herself to DJ in 2016 and quickly established herself behind the decks. Her ability and dedication earned her appearances across many of the UK's leading Drum & Bass radio stations securing residencies on Kool FM The Goat Shed and The Junglist Network alongside guest appearances on Rough Tempo Bloc2Bloc Life FM Origin and many more.

Throughout her career she has shared stages with some of the biggest names in the scene including Ragga Twins MC Blacka MC Fearless Demolition Man Rudeboy Keith and countless respected DJs MCs and producers cementing her reputation as one of the UK's most versatile female artists.

THE MUSIC

A nomination for Vocalist of the Year at the 2017 We Love Jungle Awards for her track Moving On with Brian Brainstorm released on Liondub International proved to be a defining moment in D-Zire's career. Inspired by the recognition she turned her focus towards music production building an extensive catalogue of original material.

Since then her music has been released on respected labels including Deep In The Jungle Liondub International Soul Deep Digital Dutty Bass Original Key Records and Camo Tribe while also establishing her own imprint False Widow Records giving her complete creative freedom over her productions.

Her productions have continued to receive recognition throughout the scene including having one of her tracks remixed by Bou while her music has been featured on BBC Northampton and she has delivered a producer guest mix for BBC Introducing.

Known for her hard-hitting high-energy DJ sets D-Zire combines technical ability creative track selection and seamless mixing with an instinctive understanding of the dancefloor. Her energetic performances have taken her across the UK including appearances in London Bristol Cambridge Peterborough Derby and Bedford while performing at prestigious venues such as Scala London and Egg London.

As both a producer and performer D-Zire continues to release new music while remaining a driving force within the Drum & Bass community combining passion experience and innovation to inspire audiences wherever she performs.
